Script

This is the script that we created so that we can loook at it when we are filming sdo we know our lines and to show evidence that we have planned what to say. When we made it we tried to make it look as profesional as possible so we used a font that we thought real scripts might have and we searched for the correct layout and how to word everything so that we were using the right vocabulary.
 
EXT. STREET OUTSIDE HOUSE - NIGHT

Driver walks down street with a hammer in his hand. Opens the boot of his car, throws the hammer in, closes the boot and walks back inside.


EXT. SCHOOL CAR PARK – DAY

Driver walks across car park towards his car, opens the door, throws his badge in and gets in. The car then drives off.

 

 

INT. CAR - DAY

 

Hitchhiker gets into car and puts on his seatbelt.

 

Hitchhiker

Alright mate?

 

 

Driver

Alright, yeah not bad, where are you heading?

 

Hitchhiker

Urh the local airport if you don’t mind?

 

Driver

 

 

Well you’re lucky I’m in a good mood! It’s bloody miles!

 

Hitchhiker

Oh shit, don’t worry if that’s too far.

 

Driver

Nah don’t worry about it, I’m heading up that way to see some friends so.

 

Hitchhiker

Ah right, cool, cheers!

 

 

Driver

No worries, it’s bit of a trek though so make yourself comfortable.

 

Car drives past camera and off into the distance.

 

INT. CAR – EVENING

 

Driver

I’ve just got to do something quickly, I shouldn’t be to long, you don’t mind waiting here do you?

 

Hitchhiker

Yeah, no worries!

 

 

EXT. BESIDE ROAD - EVENING

 

Driver gets out and goes to boot and picks up the hammer and walks off into the woods.

Driver sees victim and begins to follow.

 

EXT. WOODED AREA - EVENING

Driver comes up behind victim and hits with hammer over the head. Victim drops.

INT. CAR – EVENING

Hitchhiker starts looking around, wondering where the driver has gone. He gets out the car.

 

EXT. BESIDE ROAD – EVENING

Hitchhiker walks off in the same direction as the driver.

 

EXT. WOODED AREA – EVENING

Driver hears the hitchhiker running and looks up towards him.

Driver

Oh fuck!

 

Driver drops the hammer on the floor next to the body and runs off

Hitchhiker arrives and is kneeling down next to the body of the victim.

 

Hitchhiker

(SHOUTING) Holy shit, what the fuck have you done? You can’t just leave

 

EXT. BESIDE THE ROAD – EVENING

Driver sends a text saying “its done, come and get me now!” He then rings the police and blames the murder on the hitchhiker.

 

EXT. AT MURDER SCENE – EVENING

Hitchhiker is knelt next to the body, trying to help.

Hitchhiker

Come on wake up! (Whilst shaking the victim)

 

The victim does not respond, looks lifeless.

 

EXT. BESIDE ROAD – EVENING

 

Driver is stood looking down the road. There is a faint sound of police sirens in the distance, getting closer. The drivers get away car and driver arrives, he starts to climb in.

 

Driver

Took your bloody time! The plod are nearly here, fucking go go go!

 

The driver sits down in the car and it speeds off into the distance.

 

EXT. AT THE MURDER SCENE – EVENING

 

Police arrive.

 

Hitchhiker

 

Thank god you’re here, you need to help.

 

Policeman

 

Get down on the floor now!

 

Hitchhiker

No no, you don’t understand, it wasn’t …

 

Policeman flattens Sam to the ground and arrests him for murder.

 

Policeman

You are under arrest for murder, you don’t have to say anything but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned, something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.
